Play-by-Play Putts Improvement - Sep 16 2008
Enter Putts feature is now available through the Play-by-Play interface. Once you are on the green, enter putts is made available in the menu. You can quickly enter just the number of putts, or opt to input putt type in second step. Putts entered using this method are excluded from mapping and distance calculation.
Landmarks added - Sep 12 2008
Landmarks has now been added as an on course feature. You can now get distances to an unlimited number of landmarks for a hole. Landmarks come in 3 flavors:
  • Single Point - displays 1 distance, use for small landmarks such as pot bunker, tree, yardage markers
  • Reach/Carry - displayes 2 distances, reach (how far to get there) and carry (how far to get past), use for large bunkers, water hazards etc
  • Area - displays 5 distances, left and right reach and carry plus center. Use for landmarks which cross fairway diagonally (good to know difference between left/right), or target areas etc.
You can also add "advice", which do not display a distance. Landmarks can be previewed on the course page, see in action.
Play-by-Play Tracker - Aug 25 2008
Round display has now been updated to include a Play-by-Play tracker showing strokes overlayed on a map. Clicking the hole links centers the map on the selected hole and shows the Play-by-Play strokes for that hole. So now if you play a round using the Play-by-Play mode, and either use real-time scoring (posts stroke by stroke to server) or post/finish the round at the end you will be able to see your round plotted onn a map.
Manual Scoring + Shot Type - Aug 16 2008
Manual Scoring adds the ability to input scores/statistics manually (i.e. not Play-by-Play), you can input Score, Putts, GiR, Fairways Hit, Scrambling, and Sand Saves. You can either enter the stats using quick keys (displayed next to stat on screen) or by scrolling to the field and typing directly into the field. The scores/stats can be posted to the server at the end of the round.
Shot Type tracking adds the ability to get distances broken down by type to the existing club distance tracking feature. This optional feature can be enabled using the preferences menu option in the mobile caddying application. Once you turn it on you will be able to select shot type for each stroke. When viewing your club distances online each club will display its long and average distance hit for each shot type.
